In the second quarter of 2024, the US shopping app landscape saw varied performances across the top five applications on a unified platform. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Amazon experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at $17M in early May before dipping to $8M towards the end of the same month. Downloads showed a slight decline from 9.5M in early April to 7.7M by late June. Weekly active users initially decreased from 605K to 571K mid-quarter but rebounded to 586K by the quarter's end.

eufy Security saw its revenue hover around the $1K mark, with a notable dip to $640 in mid-June before recovering to $857 by the quarter's end. Downloads started at 1.5K and peaked at 1.4K in late May, while active users showed a steady increase from 78K to almost 80K over the quarter.

Alfred Home Security Camera revenue remained under $1K throughout the quarter, with a high of $306 in mid-May. Download numbers remained relatively stable, floating around the low hundreds, and weekly active users stayed within the 2.4K range.

Philips Hue revenue experienced a notable dip from $512 to $60 in late April, later stabilizing around the $200 mark. Downloads showed a slight decline overall, with a small bump to 658 in late May. Active user count decreased from 49K to 42K during this period.

OnSkin - AI Product Scanner had its revenue grow from $234 to $238 by the end of the quarter, with a peak of $283 in mid-June. Downloads saw a significant jump from 541 to 950 in mid-June, then slightly decreased to 894 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, ending the quarter at 3.3K.
