Q2 2024 Shopping App Performance on Unified Platforms in the US

Shopping apps continue to be an integral part of our digital lives, and the second quarter of 2024 has shown some interesting trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of the top shopping applications on unified platforms in the United States.

Alfred Home Security Camera saw a fluctuating revenue trend, starting the quarter with $1M and dipping mid-quarter to around $600K before climbing back up to $865K. Downloads for the app decreased from 1.1M to 854K, while weekly active users saw a decline from 14M to 11M.

Wyze - Make Your Home Smarter experienced a revenue peak of $597K in late April, with other weeks hovering between $255K to $558K. Downloads remained low, ranging from 13K to 53K, and active users showed a slight increase from 364K to 434K by the end of the quarter.

Amazon Shopping, a giant in the space, had relatively stable revenue, maintaining around $150K to $187K throughout the quarter. Downloads began at 11M, dipped to 6.9M, and ended at 8.6M. Weekly active users were consistently high, starting at 490M and closing the quarter at around 503M.

Lastly, eufy Security had a modest revenue trend, with numbers oscillating between $30K and $70K. Downloads remained low, with the highest at 31K in mid-May. The app's active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 528K and ending the quarter with 633K.
