Q2 2024 MOBA App Performance on Unified Platforms in the US

As the second quarter of 2024 wraps up, Sensor Tower has compiled insightful data on the performance of the top five Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) applications on unified platforms in the US. Here, we delve into the numbers to understand how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Brawl Stars, published by Supercell, showed fluctuating revenue, peaking at nearly $49K and dipping to around $22K. Downloads also saw a peak of over 15K, while weekly active users hovered around 560K in the early weeks, eventually dropping to around 461K by the end of June.

The latest release from Supercell, Squad Busters, had an impressive start with downloads skyrocketing to nearly 50K in its release week. The game's active users surged to over 32K, reflecting a promising launch. However, as it was a recent launch with revenue hitting almost $5K, it's still gaining traction in the market.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Shanghai Moonton Technology maintained a steady income with revenue around $5K to $7K weekly. Downloads and weekly active users showed consistency, with downloads ranging from 400 to 600 and active users staying above 13K.

Riot Games' League of Legends: Wild Rift experienced revenue figures fluctuating between $1K and $4K, with downloads mostly under 500. The game's active user base remained stable, with numbers ranging from approximately 6.5K to 7.6K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Pokémon UNITE from The Pokemon Company saw minimal revenue, peaking at $135 and dropping to zero at one point. Downloads remained relatively constant with around 100 to 200 weekly, and active users showed a slight increase from about 2.6K to nearly 3K by the end of the quarter.
