The second quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top insurance applications in Latin America on a unified platform. Here, we provide an overview of the downloads and active user metrics for the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

AFP Integra from Sura Perú demonstrated a significant increase in downloads, peaking at 124.5K in the week of May 20. The app saw a notable rise in weekly active users, reaching a high of 132.5K during the same week. However, the quarter ended with a decline in both metrics, with downloads dropping to 15.7K and active users to 79.8K in the final week of June.

AVA Fortune Life from AVA Insurance had a remarkable surge in downloads, reaching 263K in the week of June 3. The app, however, did not report any revenue or weekly active user data for the quarter.

Porto: Seguros, Cartão virtual by Porto Seguro experienced steady growth in downloads, culminating at 40.6K in the last week of June. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, with numbers peaking at 646.3K in the final week of the quarter.

Bradesco Seguros from Bradesco Seguros S.A showed consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, peaking at 29K in the week of June 10. Weekly active users for this app remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 217.9K in the week of June 10 before ending the quarter at 208K.

Afore SURA by SURA México saw a moderate performance in downloads, peaking at 31K in mid-April. The app's weekly active users fluctuated but peaked at 120.6K in the second week of April, maintaining over 100K users throughout the quarter.
