During the second quarter of 2024, the top education apps in South America demonstrated varied performance metrics. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these leading applications.

Duolingo - Language Lessons saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting strong with over 687K in early April and peaking at 793K the following week. However, by the end of June, downloads had decreased to approximately 438K. Revenue-wise, the app maintained a steady stream, averaging around $220K to $265K per week. Active users showed a gradual decline from about 7.2M in early April to around 6.6M by the end of June.

Brainly: AI Homework Helper experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at nearly 297K and dropping to around 201K by the end of the quarter. Revenue also saw a decline, from about $74K in early April to approximately $38K in the last week of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from around 3.5M to 2.6M over the same period.

Jornada do Estudante had a significant drop in weekly downloads, starting at 746K in early April and falling to around 88K by the end of June. Active users also displayed a downward trend, from 2.7M to 1.2M throughout the quarter.
