Top 5 Books Apps Performance in Turkey Q2 2024

In the second quarter of 2024, the performance of the top 5 books applications in Turkey showcased diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Data from Sensor Tower highlights these key insights.

Storytel - Audiobooks Library experienced robust growth. Weekly revenue saw a steady rise, peaking at approximately $47K in early May, and maintaining around $42K to $47K throughout the quarter. Downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching 17K in the week of May 27. Weekly active users fluctuated, starting at 277K and ending at around 262K.

GALATEA: Novels & Audiobooks showed a mixed performance. Revenue ranged between $3.5K to $5.2K, with the highest peak in mid-May. Downloads peaked at 5.3K in late April but gradually declined to approximately 2.5K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 24K to 30K.

Dreame - Read Best Romance saw consistent revenue growth, peaking at $8.4K in late June. Downloads improved notably towards the quarter's end, reaching over 5K. Weekly active users also displayed an upward trend, increasing from 39K to nearly 47K.

Fictio - Good Novels, Stories showed a significant spike in both revenue and downloads starting in June. Revenue jumped to $13.7K in mid-June, and downloads surged to 8.5K. Active users, however, were relatively low, hovering around 600 in April.

Kidly: Bedtime Books, Sleep experienced a decline in key metrics. Revenue decreased from $2K in early April to around $1.2K by the end of June. Downloads followed a similar trend, dropping from 1.4K to approximately 600. Active users also saw a gradual decline from 15.7K to 13.4K.
