Q2 2024 UK Auto Apps Performance on Unified Platform

In the second quarter of 2024, the UK's auto application sector showed varied performance across key metrics on the unified platform. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at how each of the top 5 auto apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Testi Driving Cancellations UK saw its revenue trend upwards, ending the quarter with $67K in the final week, a significant increase from $39K at the beginning. Downloads peaked at 15K in early June, while weekly active users consistently hovered around the 90K mark, closing the quarter with 92K active users.

Vehicle Smart - Car Check also experienced a revenue increase, starting at $11K and reaching $13K by the end of June. Downloads saw a slight decline over the quarter, with 4.3K in the last week compared to 4.2K in the first. Weekly active users remained stable, with a slight increase to 16K from 16K.

Zapmap: EV charging in the UK had a fluctuating revenue pattern, ending the quarter on a high note with $11K, up from $9K at the start of April. Downloads showed a gradual increase, concluding with 8.6K. The app's weekly active users saw a steady increase, ending with 63K active users.

carVertical: Check Car History observed a declining revenue trend, ending the quarter at $1.1K, down from $2.6K. Downloads, however, peaked in late June with 1.7K. Weekly active users saw a modest increase to 1.3K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, AutoTrader: Cars to Buy & Sell, despite a low revenue of $511 in the last week, maintained strong download numbers, with 26K in the final week of June. Its weekly active users showed resilience, rising from 236K to 241K by the end of the quarter.
