Top 5 Shopping Apps on iOS in Ecuador for Q2 2024

The second quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends for the top shopping apps on the iOS platform in Ecuador. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals notable patterns in weekly downloads and active users for the top five shopping applications.

SHEIN - Shopping Online had a fluctuating downloads trend throughout the quarter. The app started with around 7.3K downloads in the first week of April, dipping to 4.9K by mid-April, but rebounded at the end of June with approximately 5.5K downloads. Active users for SHEIN remained relatively stable, starting at 108K and ending the quarter slightly higher at 113K.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire showed a significant spike in both downloads and active users towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads surged from around 3.4K in mid-June to over 21K by the last week of June. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 13K in early June to over 40K by the end of the month.

Amazon Shopping maintained a steady pace in downloads, averaging around 2.7K weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Active users also remained consistent, hovering around 87K to 95K during the period.

Alibaba.com experienced moderate growth in downloads, peaking at about 2K downloads in early June. Active users saw a gradual increase from 21K at the beginning of April to 24K by early June, before slightly tapering off to 22K by the end of June.

Mercado Libre: Compras Online showed stable activity in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads hovered around 1K to 1.3K, while active users remained consistent at approximately 75K to 78K throughout the quarter.
