Q2 2024 iOS Shopping Apps Performance in the US: Trends & Insights

As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the top-performing shopping apps on the iOS platform in the United States. Here's a look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw downloads starting at approximately 9K in the first week of April and peaking at around 11K by mid-June. Weekly active users followed an upward trend, beginning at roughly 29K and growing to over 38K by the end of June.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting at about 2.5K and escalating to over 7.5K by the quarter's end. The app also enjoyed a rise in active users, from approximately 60K to nearly 80K during the same period.

ABOUT YOU Outlet showed fluctuating download numbers, with an initial 6K downloads at the beginning of April, dipping to around 1.3K towards the end of June. Active users peaked at about 8.5K in late April but saw a decline to roughly 4.7K by the end of the quarter.

ABOUT YOU Online Fashion Shop had a varied quarter, with downloads peaking at approximately 3.5K in late April and then dropping to around 1.7K by late June. Active users started at about 26K and saw a decrease to 15.5K over the course of the quarter.

Lastly, Lidl Plus maintained a stable download rate, hovering around 1.7K to 2K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained relatively consistent, with a slight increase from approximately 15.4K to over 16.7K.
