During the second quarter of 2024, the top five iOS news applications in Qatar showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at around $8.1K at the beginning of April and reaching approximately $5.4K by the end of June. Weekly downloads for the app peaked at 5K in the week of June 10, while weekly active users saw an increase from 163K to 167K over the quarter.

Reddit maintained relatively stable weekly revenue, fluctuating between $9 to $39 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads showed a consistent upward trend, peaking at 584 in mid-June. Active users also saw a slight increase from 14.1K to 14.8K by the end of June.

Hukoomi Mobile App, provided by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology - QA, did not generate any revenue during this period. However, it recorded steady download numbers, ranging from 97 to 167 per week, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

Quora from Quora, Inc. also did not generate revenue during Q2 2024. The app’s weekly downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 149 in mid-June. Active user numbers slightly increased from 1.3K to approximately 1.4K over the quarter.
