In the second quarter of 2024, the iOS news app landscape in Latvia saw varied performance among the top five apps, according to Sensor Tower data.

X from X Corp. maintained a steady weekly revenue, peaking at $167 in the week of April 22. Weekly downloads showed significant fluctuation, starting at 541 in early April and reaching a high of 668 in mid-May. The app concluded the quarter with 376 weekly downloads.

The Economist - News, Podcasts experienced a notable weekly revenue spike to $146 in early April, with subsequent weeks showing more moderate earnings. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 21 in the final week of June.

Bloomberg: Business News Daily saw its highest weekly revenue of $96 in late April, while other weeks ranged between $22 and $71. Downloads were minimal, with occasional small peaks, such as 11 downloads in the second week of April and 5 in the last week of June.

Medium: Read & Write Stories showed a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $54 in the last week of May. Weekly downloads varied, with a high of 73 in early May and a low of 1 in early April.

The New York Times had a stable revenue pattern, with a peak of $55 in the last week of May. Downloads were mostly low, with a brief surge to 33 in late April.
