In Q2 2024, the top five navigation apps on iOS in Qatar showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each app.

Google Maps experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 4.9K in early May. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a high of approximately 250K in mid-June. Despite these engagement metrics, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw weekly downloads ranging from 1.2K to 1.8K, with a noticeable peak of 1.6K in mid-June. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 126K to 133K throughout the quarter. Similar to Google Maps, Waze did not generate revenue during this period.

Qibla Finder Compass 100% had a moderate performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 226 and 471. Revenue experienced a significant drop in mid-June, going from $491 to $103, then slightly recovering to $353 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a gradual increase, peaking at around 1.2K in mid-June.
