Q2 2024 Performance of Top Insurance Apps on iOS in Latin America

In the second quarter of 2024, the Latin American insurance app market on the iOS platform has displayed a diverse range of download and usage patterns. The performance data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a glimpse into user preferences and app traction.

My AXA México saw a steady increase in downloads, starting the quarter with 641 and peaking at 1K by the end of June. Despite not generating revenue, the app's downloads suggest a growing user base.

Contrastingly, Mi MetLife had a relatively modest beginning with downloads hovering around the low 100s, but experienced a sudden surge to 1.5K downloads in mid-June, followed by a drop to 243 in the last week of the quarter.

AllianzConnX maintained a relatively flat download pattern throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging from 10 to 68. The app showed no significant spikes or drops, indicating a steady but limited user interest.

ASISA had its ups and downs, with downloads fluctuating between 3 and 38 throughout the quarter. The inconsistency in downloads might reflect varying market penetration efforts or user engagement strategies.

Lastly, Activa DKV, one of the newer entrants, struggled to gain traction with downloads staying mostly in the single digits. The highest downloads recorded for a week were 24, with the final week of the quarter showing just one download.
