In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 shopping apps on the Android platform in Sweden showed varied performance in terms of downloads and weekly active users, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each app.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a decline in downloads over the quarter, starting from 18K in early April and decreasing to around 6.6K by the end of June. However, the app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, fluctuating between 158K and 176K throughout the period.

SHEIN-Shopping Online exhibited a growth in weekly active users, peaking at approximately 202K by the end of May. Downloads also showed some fluctuations, with a high of 7.3K in late April and a low of 4.2K in late June.

Lidl Plus experienced a consistent number of weekly active users, hovering around 90K. Downloads, on the other hand, saw a declining trend, starting at 5.5K in early April and dropping to about 3.1K by the end of June.

Willys had a steady number of weekly active users, ranging from 11.5K to 15.3K. Downloads varied throughout the quarter, with a noticeable peak of approximately 4K in mid-May and a low of around 2.1K in mid-April.

Zalando – online fashion store showed a positive trend in weekly active users, increasing towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around 78K in late June. Downloads also followed an upward trajectory, starting at 2.1K in early April and reaching 3.2K by early June.
