In the second quarter of 2024, the US Android market saw varied performances among the top shopping applications. Our data from Sensor Tower highlights the trends in downloads and weekly active users for these key players.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a gradual decrease in downloads over the quarter, starting from 6.8K and finishing at 3.8K. Weekly active users showed more stability, with a slight uptick from around 71K to 74K by the end of the quarter.
Zalando – online fashion store showed a similar trend in downloads, beginning with 1.2K and ending the quarter with a notable drop to 727. Weekly active users, however, increased from approximately 39K to 42K, indicating a growing user base despite the download rates.
SHEIN-Shopping Online maintained a fairly consistent download rate, hovering around 1K each week, with a slight peak at 1.3K. Their weekly active users saw some fluctuation but ended the quarter with a slight increase from 22K to 22K.
Circle K had a fluctuating download pattern, starting strong at 2.1K, dipping to 608, and then surging to 1.6K by the end of Q2. This was mirrored in their weekly active users, which saw an increase from around 8K to 7.2K throughout the quarter.
H&M - we love fashion saw downloads vary between 702 and 1K, with a notable jump to 1K in the first week of June. Weekly active users demonstrated a robust growth from approximately 29K to 32K, indicating a successful quarter in terms of user engagement.
