Shopping apps have become an integral part of the digital marketplace, and their performance is a key indicator of consumer behavior. According to Sensor Tower's recent analysis, here's how the top 5 shopping applications on the Android platform fared in the US during the second quarter of 2024.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a fluctuation in downloads starting from 23K in the first week of April, peaking at 27K in late April, then dropping to 13K in late May, and rising again to 20K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a steady increase from 220K to 283K over the quarter.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a mixed trend in downloads, with an initial 7K in early April, a peak at 10K mid-April, followed by a dip and a gradual increase back to 9K towards the end of June. Active users ranged from 125K to 129K, showing slight fluctuations but generally stable engagement.

Clubcard Tesco Czechia downloads had a significant spike in mid-April, jumping from 5K to nearly 19K, then gradually decreased to around 5K by the end of June. The weekly active users started at 67K, peaked at 94K in late April, and slightly decreased to 74K towards the end of the quarter.
