Q2 2024 Snapshot: Top Android Shopping Apps in the US

As Q2 of 2024 wraps up, we take a look at the performance of the leading shopping apps on the Android platform in the US. Sensor Tower provides a detailed analysis of downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular applications.

Amazon Shopping saw a fluctuating trend in revenue, starting the quarter with $9K and peaking at nearly $20K towards the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around the 3.5K mark weekly, while weekly active users experienced a rise from 482K in early April to 526K by the quarter's close.

AlfredCamera Home Security app generated revenue with a slight downward trend, starting the quarter at $345 and ending at $187. Downloads peaked at 85 in the last week of June, and the weekly active users showed a consistent performance, maintaining around 1.4K throughout the quarter.

eufy Security demonstrated a more variable revenue pattern, beginning at $608 and dipping to $687 in early June before climbing back up to $929. Downloads saw a peak of 3.4K in late May, while the app's active user base remained stable, ranging from 80K to 84K.

Homey — A better smart home had a modest revenue presence compared to others, with the highest at $628 in late April and a drop to $351 by the end of June. Downloads were minimal, fluctuating slightly around the 50 mark, and no data on weekly active users was available.

Lastly, Philips Hue showed a revenue increase from $220 to $249 through the quarter. Downloads had a high point of 1.4K in late May, while the number of weekly active users saw a slight decline from 69.5K to 59.7K.
