Q2 2024 Android Shopping Apps Performance in the US

Sensor Tower's recent study of the US Android shopping app market in Q2 2024 presents interesting insights into user engagement and app performance. Here's a brief overview of the top five shopping applications during this period.

AlfredCamera Home Security app saw a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at $84K towards the end of May and then dipping to $29K by the end of June. Downloads reached a high of 117K in mid-April but later stabilized around 75K. Weekly active users (WAUs) peaked at over 1K in late April, with a slight rebound to 900 users by the quarter's end.

Amazon Shopping experienced a consistent increase in revenue from $27K to $83K throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a peak of 534K in mid-April, with a steady level of around 500K towards the end of June. The app's WAUs remained robust, starting at around 70K and growing to over 71K.

For eufy Security, revenue was mostly negligible, with a notable exception in early June when it hit $36K. Downloads varied slightly, hovering around 40-57K, and WAUs showed a modest increase from around 2.9K to just over 3K.
