Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Nigeria Q2 2024

During the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in Nigeria showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here is a detailed look at how each app fared based on data from Sensor Tower.

Reliance Care experienced fluctuating weekly downloads throughout Q2 2024. Starting with 2.5K downloads in the first week of April, the app saw a dip to around 1.5K to 1.7K downloads in subsequent weeks. However, there was a noticeable increase in June, peaking at approximately 2.1K downloads in the last week.

Sanlam Nigeria, which was released mid-May, saw a consistent upward trend in weekly downloads. Starting with 576 downloads in early May, the app’s downloads surged to a peak of 3.5K in the second week of June before slightly dipping to around 2.4K by the end of the quarter.

MyAXA Plus had a relatively stable performance in weekly downloads. Beginning with around 700 downloads in early April, the app maintained a steady flow with minor fluctuations, reaching a high of 939 downloads in mid-June before slightly decreasing to 857 downloads in the last week of June.

Another app from the same publisher, Sanlam Nigeria, also showed consistent performance in weekly downloads. It started at 1.5K downloads in the first week of April, experienced a brief dip, and then stabilized around 1.7K downloads towards the end of April.

Lastly, NEM Health Mobile witnessed a declining trend in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. From 940 downloads in the first week of April, the numbers gradually decreased, hitting a low of 81 downloads in early June. However, there was a slight recovery towards the end of June, with 329 downloads.
