In the second quarter of 2024, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Belgium showcased varying trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of the leading finance apps: itsme, Google Wallet, Crelan Mobile App, Payconiq by Bancontact, and Easy Banking App.

itsme experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting with 7.4K at the beginning of April and reaching a peak of 9.7K in mid-June. Active users also saw an increase, starting at 226.8K and ending at approximately 257.8K by the end of June.

Google Wallet had a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging from 6.6K to 8.2K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers increased steadily from 108.9K at the beginning of April to around 123K by the end of June.

Crelan Mobile App saw a significant spike in downloads towards the end of the quarter, with a peak of 26.7K in mid-June, up from a low of 1.1K at the start of May.

Payconiq by Bancontact maintained a steady download rate, hovering around 5K to 6.3K weekly. Active users showed a slight increase from 88.7K in early April to 93.3K by the end of June.

Easy Banking App had a relatively stable download trend, ranging from 3.9K to 5.9K. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained strong, starting at 539.3K and ending at approximately 528.7K.
