The first quarter of 2024 has shown dynamic trends for the top travel apps in Europe. Below, we highlight the performance of Uber - Request a ride, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel, Airbnb, Bolt: Request a Ride, and Ryanair.

Uber - Request a ride started the quarter with 565K downloads in the first week of January, but then saw a drop to 407K in the second week. The app's downloads fluctuated but ended the quarter on a higher note with 424K downloads in the last week of March. Active users also showed a slight variation, starting at 11.1M in the first week and closing at around 10.4M by the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a steady download rate, beginning with 484K in the first week of January and ending with 424K in the last week of March. The app's active user base demonstrated consistent growth, starting at 16.2M users and reaching approximately 17.1M by the end of the quarter.

Airbnb showed a steady download pattern throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads hovering around the 350K mark. Active users for the app increased from 7.9M in the first week of January to around 8.1M by the end of March, indicating a slight but consistent growth in user engagement.

Bolt: Request a Ride began the quarter with 413K downloads and saw a dip to around 328K in the second week. However, the app's downloads picked up again, reaching 370K by the last week of March. Active users for Bolt started at 2.9M and remained fairly stable, closing the quarter with approximately the same number of users.

Finally, Ryanair began with 231K downloads in the first week of January and maintained a steady pace, ending the quarter with 230K downloads. The app's active user count fluctuated but saw a gradual increase, starting at 1.39M and ending at about 1.39M by the end of March.
