In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 travel applications in Brazil exhibited varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user statistics.

Uber - Request a ride started the quarter strong with 335K downloads in the first week of January. The app saw a slight dip mid-January but bounced back to 345K downloads in early February. By the end of March, downloads stabilized around 307K weekly. Active users increased from approximately 12.2M at the start of the quarter to a peak of 13.9M in early March, before ending the quarter at 13.1M.

99 - Private drivers and Taxi maintained a consistent download rate of around 300K per week, peaking at 325K in early February. Active users saw a steady rise from 9.5M in the first week of January to 10.8M in early March, closing the quarter at 10.3M.

Airbnb experienced a decline in downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 269K in early January and dropping to around 76K by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 1.45M to 884K over the same period.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a gradual decline in downloads from 164K in the first week of January to 58K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, reducing from 3.05M to 2.24M over the quarter.

LATAM Pass | Brasil started Q1 with 94K downloads, which fluctuated slightly to end at 45K in the last week of March. Active users showed a positive trend, rising from approximately 193K to 288K throughout the quarter.
