In the first quarter of 2024, the top five news applications in Greece exhibited diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.8K in early March. Weekly downloads saw a significant spike in the first week of February, reaching around 7.8K, while weekly active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at about 446K.

Bloomberg: Business News Daily experienced varying weekly revenue, peaking at $1.4K in mid-March. Download numbers remained low throughout the quarter, with a maximum of 86 in late January. Active users gradually decreased, finishing at around 438.

The Economist - News, Podcasts showed a decline in weekly revenue, with a high of $820 in the first week of January and ending at $506 in late March. Downloads fluctuated modestly, peaking at 90 in late January. Active users saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, ending at 328.

The New York Times had a notable peak in weekly revenue in mid-January at $817, followed by a decrease. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a maximum of 132 in late January. Active users rose slightly towards the end of the quarter, reaching 816.

Medium: Read & Write Stories saw consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $483 in mid-February. Downloads remained stable, with a high of 174 in mid-February. Active users showed an upward trend, ending the quarter at 1.3K.
