During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 navigation applications in Africa exhibited diverse trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS showed a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at approximately $3.8K in the final week of February. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 16K to 20K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a slight decline from around 61K at the start of January to 55K by the end of March.

Air Navigation Pro experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $1.8K in late January. However, weekly downloads stayed modest, fluctuating between 245 and 388. The app did not report active user data for this period.

Spoten Phone Location Tracker saw a stable revenue trend, with figures hovering around $1.2K. Downloads spiked in mid-February, peaking at nearly 5K, while active users increased from 4.5K in early January to over 5K by the end of March.
