In the first quarter of 2024, the UK insurance app market has seen varying levels of user engagement and downloads across unified platforms. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into the performance of the top five insurance applications.

Hastings Direct Insurance maintained a steady download trend with a slight peak of 25K in mid-March, while weekly active users (WAUs) saw a gradual increase, ending the quarter at approximately 64K.

Admiral Insurance experienced a notable spike in downloads reaching nearly 26K towards the end of January, complemented by a steady rise in WAUs, peaking at over 112K in the last week of March.

Bupa Touch showed a surge in downloads mid-January at around 22K, with active users progressively increasing throughout the quarter, achieving nearly 90K WAUs by the end of March.

MyAviva downloads fluctuated, peaking at over 16K in early February, while WAUs demonstrated a modest climb, concluding the quarter just above 32K.

Lastly, Cuvva downloads remained relatively stable with a minor uptick to 14K in late March. The app's active users showed a consistent growth, ending the quarter with just over 29K WAUs.
