Top 5 Insurance Apps Performance on Unified Platform in Estonia Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, the insurance app market in Estonia showed varied performance across the top 5 applications. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

If Mobile Baltics had a relatively stable pattern in weekly downloads. Starting at 420 downloads in the first week of January, it saw minor fluctuations, peaking at 445 in the last week of January. However, the downloads decreased towards the end of the quarter, with the lowest at 272 in mid-March.

Balcia experienced more volatility in its download numbers. Beginning with 265 downloads in the first week of January, there was a significant drop towards the end of February, reaching as low as 41 downloads. The app saw some recovery in mid-March with 145 downloads, before dropping to 74 in the last week of March.

ERGO Estonia maintained a more consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Downloads started at 109 in early January and showed a slight increase, peaking at 175 in early February. The numbers stabilized towards the end of the quarter, averaging around 100 downloads per week.

IIZI had lower download numbers compared to other apps. Starting at 61 downloads in the first week of January, the app saw a dip in mid-January with 30 downloads, but gradually recovered, reaching up to 50 in early March. The downloads remained relatively stable around 40-50 in the last few weeks of the quarter.

BTA Eesti had the lowest download numbers among the top 5. The app started with 22 downloads in the first week of January and experienced small fluctuations throughout the quarter, with a peak of 37 downloads in early February and a notable drop to 0 in the last week of February. The downloads picked up slightly towards the end of the quarter, averaging around 20 per week.
