Latin America's apparel app market has shown varied trends across top players in the first quarter of 2024. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's how the top five apps have fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.
SHEIN - Shopping Online remained a strong contender with downloads peaking at 1.8M in the second week of January and seeing a low of 1.3M in mid-March. Weekly active users started strong at 32M but saw a gradual decline to 31M by the end of the quarter.
For adidas: Shop Shoes & Clothing, downloads showed an upward trajectory, moving from 128K at the start of January to 166K by mid-March before dipping slightly to 158K. Weekly active users began at 1.5M, experienced a peak of 1.5M, and then decreased to 1.4M.
Nike: Shoes, Apparel, Stories saw its downloads fluctuate, beginning with 117K and descending to a low of 88K twice in March. Active users for Nike followed a downtrend from 780K to 727K over the quarter.
ZARA experienced its highest downloads at the start of the year with 88K, which then decreased to a steady range between 57K and 67K. The app's weekly active users saw a decrease from 485K to 433K, followed by a slight recovery to 432K.
Lastly, FARFETCH - Shop Luxury Fashion began the quarter with downloads at 64K, experienced a dip to 50K in early February, and ended March with a slight increase to 47K. Weekly active users started at 151K, dropped to 137K mid-quarter, and closed slightly up at 129K.
