Q1 2024 Apparel App Trends in France: Top 5's Performance Unveiled

In the first quarter of 2024, France's apparel app scene witnessed substantial user interaction, with the top 5 apps demonstrating varying degrees of performance on the unified platform. Sensor Tower's data offers us a glimpse into these trends.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a remarkable increase in both downloads and weekly active users (WAUs). Downloads soared from 100K in the first week of January to an impressive 500K in the third week of March, while WAUs grew from 2.3M to over 3M in the same period.

Vinted: Sell vintage clothes experienced a slight dip in downloads, starting at 85K and descending to 67K by the end of March. However, the app maintained a robust active user base, hovering around 2.8M throughout the quarter.

Zalando – Online fashion also saw a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 49K in the second week of January and then settling to 40K by the end of March. The WAUs showed a slight decline from 810K in early January to 600K by the quarter's end.

Nike: Shoes, Apparel, Stories maintained a steady download figure, starting at 30K and peaking at 32K, with a slight drop to 22K in late March. Its active users presented a more varied picture, with an initial 478K in January, a mid-quarter high of 562K, and a reduction to 406K by the close of the quarter.

ZARA showed the most modest performance among the top apps. Downloads fluctuated mildly, with an initial 22K, a peak at 29K, and a final 19K in the last week of March. The app's WAUs saw a slight increase from 285K to just under 250K by the quarter's end.
