Q1 2024 Performance of Top iOS Utilities Apps in Latin America

Latin America's iOS Utilities apps have shown diverse performance trends in the first quarter of 2024, according to the latest data from Sensor Tower. Here's a snapshot of the activity across some of the leading applications in this category.

Google started the quarter with downloads at approximately 292K and saw a peak at around 426K in mid-February before ending the quarter at about 272K. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, starting at nearly 3M and closing the quarter with a slight dip to around 2.9M.

The Brazilian government's gov.br app showed a significant increase in weekly active users from about 533K to 864K by mid-March, before settling down to approximately 753K by the end of March. Downloads for the app peaked at around 250K in mid-January and ended the quarter with close to 194K.

Google Chrome experienced a steady performance in downloads, starting the quarter at around 200K and peaking at 236K in late February, with the quarter closing at nearly 178K. The weekly active users for Google Chrome were consistently high, hovering around the 6.6M mark throughout the quarter.

Brazil's Carteira de Trabalho Digital app saw its downloads fluctuate, with a high of approximately 197K in early February and ending the quarter at about 81K. Active users hit a high of over 1M in early February, followed by a decrease to nearly 723K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Sticker.ly - Sticker Maker showed a downward trend in both downloads and weekly active users. Starting the quarter with downloads at around 143K, it dipped to 110K by the end of March. Active users started at nearly 1.5M but decreased to around 1.5M by the close of the quarter.
