Q1 2024 Performance of Top iOS Utilities Apps in Europe

As the first quarter of 2024 closes, we've seen interesting movements in the utilities app sector on the iOS platform across Europe. Sensor Tower's data provides us with the insights needed to understand how these apps are faring in terms of downloads and user engagement.

Google experienced a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 698K in the second week of January and gradually tapering to 588K by the end of March. Weekly active users started at 15.3M but slightly dipped to 15.1M, indicating a modest change in user engagement over the quarter.

Google Chrome saw a more pronounced rise in downloads over the quarter, starting at 390K and surging to 753K in the first week of March, before settling at 610K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 18.2M throughout the quarter.
