As the first quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the top utilities apps on the iOS platform in Europe. Here's how these essential tools have performed over the past three months.
NordVPN: VPN Fast & Secure experienced a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at $315K in early March, while downloads saw a steady increase, reaching 75K in the same week. The app's weekly active users showed growth over the quarter, ending at 563K.
For Cleanup: Phone Storage Cleaner, revenue remained relatively stable with a slight peak of $118K mid-February. Downloads began at 118K in January, but saw a decline over the quarter, finishing at around 49K. Weekly active users started strong at 374K but dipped to 316K by the end of March.
Onoff saw its revenue hover around the $75K-$94K mark throughout the quarter. Downloads were modest in comparison to other apps, with the highest at 3.3K in early January. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around the 13K-16K range.
Getcontact had a revenue trend that varied, reaching a high of $75K towards the end of February. Downloads started at 95K and ended the quarter at 89K, showing a resilient demand. Weekly active users for Getcontact were impressive, starting at 1.5M and maintaining a strong presence throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Norton 360 Security & VPN saw its revenue move between $42K and $61K. The app's downloads began at 17K and had a small rise to around 12K-14K. Weekly active users showed a significant jump in early March, reaching 406K.
