The first quarter of 2024 has shown interesting trends for the top 5 shopping applications on the iOS platform in Guatemala. According to data from Sensor Tower, here’s a detailed look at the performance of these apps in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at roughly 2.9K in early January and dropping to about 2K by the end of March. However, the app's weekly active users saw a different trend, with a slight increase from around 47.8K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 46.5K by the end. Revenue remained flat throughout the period.

Amazon Shopping had a relatively stable performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1.3K and 895. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, ranging from about 43.9K at the start of January to 44.1K by the end of March, showcasing a steady user engagement.

Alibaba.com saw a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 1.4K in the first week of January and decreasing to around 667 by the last week of March. The number of weekly active users followed a similar pattern, dropping from roughly 13.7K to about 11.8K over the quarter.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire had a modest start with weekly downloads at around 1.1K, which gradually decreased to about 710 by mid-March before rising to 849 in the last week. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, showing a slight increase from approximately 4.6K in early January to about 4.3K by the end of the quarter.

TrefraClub managed to maintain a relatively steady download rate, starting at around 582 and peaking at 836 in mid-February before stabilizing at 701 by the end of March. Unfortunately, data on active users for TrefraClub was not available for this period.
