During the first quarter of 2024, the top five iOS navigation apps in South America showcased diverse performance patterns. Here's a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Google Maps had a strong start with downloads around 288K in the first week of January. However, there was a gradual decline, ending the quarter at approximately 193K downloads in the final week of March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 10.6M and closing at 10.3M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a decrease in downloads from 121K to 82K over the quarter. Despite this, active users showed resilience, starting at 5.6M, dipping to 5.1M mid-quarter, and recovering to 5.3M by the end of March.
