In the first quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five iOS navigation apps in Estonia showed varied trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and revenue, as tracked by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced a stable but slightly declining trend in weekly downloads. Starting at 779 downloads in the first week of January, it dipped to 650 by the end of March. Despite this, there was a notable peak of 827 downloads in the week of February 26.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a fluctuating pattern in its weekly downloads. The app started with 463 downloads in the first week of January, fluctuating throughout the quarter, and peaking at 584 downloads in the last week of March.

Moovit: All Transit Options had consistent weekly downloads, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Downloads ranged from 130 to 157 per week. The app’s weekly revenue showed sporadic peaks, with the highest being $46 in the week of February 19 and $45 in the week of March 11.

Neste saw significant variation in its weekly downloads. Starting with modest numbers in January, it experienced a considerable surge to 406 downloads in the week of February 5. However, this was followed by a drop, ending the quarter with 67 downloads in the last week of March.

Tartu bussiajad had a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 126 in the first week of January and dropping to 64 by the end of March. There were minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, with a small peak of 85 downloads in the week of February 26.
