Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Chile for Q1 2024

The first quarter of 2024 saw notable activity in the iOS navigation app category in Chile. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps began the quarter strong with over 22K downloads in the first week of January, but experienced a gradual decline, ending the quarter with around 12.4K downloads. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 1M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a similar trend, starting with nearly 10K downloads in the first week of January. However, downloads dropped to around 5.2K by mid-March, before rebounding slightly to 6.8K in the last week of March. Weekly active users hovered around 440K, with a slight increase to 443K by the end of the quarter.

Moovit: All Transit Options showed an impressive growth in weekly revenue, beginning at approximately $648 and reaching $1.2K by the end of March. Downloads also surged significantly, from around 4K in early January to over 7.2K in early March. Active users increased from 52.5K to 72.3K over the quarter.

Red Movilidad maintained steady download numbers, with a notable peak of 6.4K in the first week of March. Active users grew consistently, starting at 63.8K and reaching 72.3K by the end of the quarter.

SimplePark experienced a decline in downloads, starting with over 2K in early January but dropping to around 1K by mid-March. Despite this, the app maintained a presence in the top 5.
