Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Brazil Q1 2024

In Q1 2024, the top 5 navigation apps on the iOS platform in Brazil exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads hovering around 165K at the beginning of January, then gradually declining to approximately 113K by the end of March. Active users started the quarter at about 5.96M, peaking slightly to 6.11M in the second week, before ending the quarter at around 5.65M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its weekly downloads start at 82.5K in early January, decreasing to roughly 51K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 4.23M and dipping to around 4M by the end of the quarter, with minor fluctuations throughout.

Moovit: All Transit Options showed strong weekly downloads, starting at about 28.4K and peaking at 39.5K in mid-February, before settling at approximately 29.2K by the end of March. Revenue trends were positive, starting at $3.3K in early January and reaching a peak of around $7.9K in the first week of March. Active users saw a significant rise, beginning at 580K and climbing to 879K by mid-March, before a slight decrease to 795K at the quarter's close.

Cittamobi: Transporte Coletivo also showed notable trends, with weekly downloads increasing from 8K to a peak of 14.5K in mid-February, then tapering off to about 10.4K by the end of March. Revenue remained low but stable, with minor increases, peaking at $170 in mid-March. Active users grew from 98K at the start of the quarter to 151K by mid-March, ending at around 140K.

Bike Itaú saw its weekly downloads decline from 15.4K in early January to a low of 6.2K in early February, then gradually increasing to 7.8K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 35K and ending the quarter at around 26K, with minor fluctuations throughout.
