Latin America's mobile gaming scene continues to grow, and Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games are at the forefront of this expansion. Sensor Tower's data on the top MOBA applications on the iOS platform for the first quarter of 2024 reveals interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Supercell's Brawl Stars showed a strong performance with weekly downloads beginning at 73K in the first week of January and peaking at 123K by the end of March. The weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, starting at 858K and climbing to 1.24M. Revenue trends saw fluctuations, with an initial $270K in the first week, dipping mid-quarter, and then reaching a high of $391K in the last recorded week.

Riot Games' League of Legends: Wild Rift experienced a steady number of downloads, starting the quarter at 14.5K and ending at 11.5K. Active users saw a slight decline from 187K to 153K over the quarter. The revenue peaked in mid-January at $107K but generally hovered around the $60K mark towards the end of March.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, by Shanghai Moonton Technology, had a consistent download count, initiating at 13K and concluding the quarter at 11K. The active user base showed a decrease from 108K to 98K. The game's revenue saw its highest at $74K at the start of January and settled at around $66K by March's end.

Level Infinite's Honor of Kings is a newer entrant with a modest beginning in revenue at $4.6K and ending the quarter at $4.1K. Downloads for the game started at 5.6K and saw a peak at 9K in late February. Active users saw a growth from 17K to 18K, indicating a steady increase in engagement.

The Pokemon Company's Pokémon UNITE had downloads beginning at 9.5K and a slight uptick to 7.5K by the end of March. The active user count started at 74K, dipped to 56K in early February, and then rose back to 64K. Although revenue saw a spike at $25K in late February, it generally remained below $10K for the rest of the quarter.
