Europe's mobile gaming landscape continues to thrive, with the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) category maintaining its popularity. Sensor Tower provides us with an in-depth look at how the top five MOBA applications performed on the iOS platform during the first quarter of 2024.

Supercell's Brawl Stars had a remarkable quarter with revenue peaking at nearly $5M in the final week of March, up from $1.8M at the start of January. Downloads saw an impressive increase, starting at approximately 219K and reaching around 919K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a positive trend, growing from 5.6M to over 11M in the same period.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, published by Shanghai Moonton Technology, experienced a more modest revenue trend, with its peak at around $434K in the first week of January. Downloads ranged from 37K to 44K, while active users saw a slight fluctuation, ending the quarter at around 587K from an initial count of 547K.

Riot Games' League of Legends: Wild Rift showed a peak revenue of $390K in mid-January, with subsequent weeks hovering between $143K and $336K. Downloads were consistent, with numbers staying around the 20K mark each week. Active user trends saw a slight decrease from 378K to 345K over the course of the quarter.

The Pokemon Company's Pokémon UNITE displayed revenue figures that were comparatively lower, with the highest at $30K in late February. The game's downloads maintained a steady pace, with a slight peak at 15K in early February. Active users showed a steady increase from 153K in the first week of January to 156K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Arena of Valor from Level Infinite, while not showing significant revenue, had a steady presence. Downloads remained under 3K for most weeks, and active users showed a slight decline, starting at 8.7K and ending at 7.8K.
