In the first quarter of 2024, the top five insurance applications on the iOS platform in Ecuador exhibited diverse performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and revenue trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Mi Humana saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting with 92 downloads in the first week of January, the app experienced a dip mid-month but rebounded to peak at 161 downloads in the week of February 5. The quarter closed with a moderate 90 downloads in the final week of March.

ASERTEC Plus demonstrated a relatively stable download pattern, with minor fluctuations. Weekly downloads ranged from 34 to 73, peaking in mid-January and again in mid-February. The app ended the quarter with 51 downloads in the last week of March.

BMI Ahorro Ecuador experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting at 75 downloads in the first week of January, the app saw a gradual decline, finishing the quarter with 39 downloads in the last week of March.

My Bupa Latin America had a more erratic download trend. Weekly downloads ranged from a low of 23 in the last week of March to a high of 72 in the second week of January. The app saw a significant increase in mid-March with 63 downloads.

Inspector de Seguros Alianza showed a consistent yet modest download performance. The app started the quarter with 40 downloads and saw minor peaks, such as 58 downloads in late January, before stabilizing around 28 to 52 downloads towards the end of the quarter.
