In the first quarter of 2024, the top finance apps on iOS in Portugal demonstrated diverse performance patterns. Below is a breakdown of the weekly downloads and active users for the leading five apps: World App - Worldcoin Wallet, Revolut: Send, spend and save, MB WAY, e-fatura, and Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto.

World App - Worldcoin Wallet saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 22.9K in mid-February. The app’s active users also surged, reaching around 29.3K in early March. However, the latter part of March showed a decline to about 24.9K active users.

For Revolut: Send, spend and save, the weekly downloads showed a consistent upward trend, culminating at 9.3K in the last week of March. Active users maintained a steady increase, starting at 131K in January and rising to nearly 150K by the end of March.

MB WAY exhibited stable weekly downloads, with a peak of 8.3K at the end of January. Active user numbers fluctuated slightly but remained around 120K to 130K throughout the quarter.

e-fatura experienced a strong performance in weekly downloads, with a high of 12.5K in late February. The app’s active users followed an upward trajectory, peaking at approximately 47.4K in late February, and ending the quarter at around 40K.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto showed a significant spike in weekly downloads, reaching 5.7K in early March. Active users increased notably from 13.7K in early January to about 19.6K in early March, before stabilizing around 16.4K towards the end of the quarter.
