In the first quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five finance apps on iOS in Brazil demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance:

Nubank: Conta, Cartão e mais had a strong quarter with weekly downloads peaking at around 187K in early January and stabilizing to approximately 125K by the end of March. Weekly active users started at 10.1M and saw a slight increase to 10.5M by mid-March before dipping to about 9.9M at the quarter's end.

FGTS saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting the quarter at 79K and peaking at 109K by the end of January, before a gradual decline to around 72K by late March. The app’s weekly active users began at 568K, rising to 591K in mid-March, and then dropping to 471K by the end of the quarter.

CAIXA Tem experienced a significant surge in weekly downloads, starting at 45K in early January and skyrocketing to 278K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 558K at the beginning of the quarter to 837K by the end of March.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads hovering around 61K to 75K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed consistent growth, starting at 1.69M and peaking at 1.80M in early March before settling at 1.69M by the end of the quarter.

SerasaConsumidor had a varied quarter in terms of weekly downloads, starting at 69K, peaking at 84K in late January, and then decreasing to around 62K by the end of March. Weekly active users began at 635K, with a dip to 551K in mid-March, and concluded the quarter at approximately 557K.
