The first quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends in the education app sector on iOS in Malta. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Duolingo - Language Lessons started the year with a weekly revenue of approximately $1.3K, which then saw a fluctuating decline, reaching around $640 in mid-February. The revenue picked up towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around $942 in early March. Weekly downloads for the app remained relatively stable, hovering around 250 on average throughout the quarter.

Blockcerts Wallet had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from 26 in the first week of January and peaking at 513 in mid-February. After this peak, downloads saw a significant drop, settling around 52 by the end of March. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.
