The first quarter of 2024 saw diverse performance trends among the top 5 education apps on iOS in Bahrain. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and revenue, based on Sensor Tower data.

Student Exam Results experienced a significant jump in weekly downloads early in the quarter, peaking at 2.6K in the week of January 8. However, downloads dropped sharply to 1.2K the following week and continued to decline, reaching a low of 16 by mid-March.

For Duolingo - Language Lessons, weekly revenue fluctuated throughout the quarter, starting at $612 in the first week of January and peaking at $663 in the second week. The lowest revenue was $341 in early February, but it recovered to $630 by mid-March. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 351 in the first week to 238 by the end of March.

Moddakir to teach the Qur'an saw a remarkable surge in downloads in March, with a peak of 1.5K in the week of March 4. This was followed by 1.1K downloads the next week. The app maintained high download rates, ending the quarter with 792 downloads in the last week of March.

UOB had a notable increase in weekly downloads in mid-January, reaching 526 in the week of January 15 and peaking at 1.2K the following week. However, downloads dropped to 343 by late February and continued to decline, ending at 35 in the last week of March.

Clever: Brain Logic Training demonstrated a steady performance in weekly revenue, starting at $262 in the first week of January and maintaining a consistent range around $300 throughout the quarter. Downloads showed a gradual decline initially but picked up again in March, with a significant increase to 595 in the last week of the quarter.
