Top 5 Auto Apps on iOS in Africa - Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, the top five auto applications on the iOS platform in Africa showcased varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed, as reported by Sensor Tower.

K53 South Africa Pro from Nhlakanipho Nkosi saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 4.9K in early January and dropping to 2.3K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 26.1K to approximately 21.7K over the same period.

K53 RSA Learners License, published by Niel Olivier, also experienced a downward trend in weekly downloads. The app started the quarter with 3.6K downloads per week, which decreased to 1.6K by the last week of March.

Hatla2ee, an app from Egypt, showed a more fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. It initially had 2.1K downloads per week, peaking at nearly 3K in the final week of March. The weekly active users for Hatla2ee saw a steady increase, ending the quarter at around 15.8K users.

Cartrack GPS, Vehicle & Fleet from Cartrack had a stable performance in weekly downloads, starting at 1.1K and reaching a high of 1.7K in early March before settling at around 1.5K by the end of the quarter.

WeBuyCars Mobile, by WeBuyCars (PTY) Ltd., maintained a consistent download rate throughout Q1 2024. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 1K and 1.3K.
