Android users in the United States have shown a diverse range of engagement with the top shopping apps in the first quarter of 2024. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of these applications.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a fluctuating download trend, peaking at 900K in mid-February, with a notable dip to 308K by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 11.5M in the first week of January but observed a gradual decline to approximately 9.4M by the end of the quarter.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a steady increase in downloads, reaching a high of 466K in the last week of March. Weekly active users showed a consistent growth, ending the quarter with nearly 3M active users, a slight increase from the 2.6M at the start of January.

Walmart: Shopping & Savings maintained a steady download number throughout the quarter, with a slight peak at 168K in late January. The app's weekly active users remained stable, hovering around 6.5M to 6.8M throughout the quarter.

Amazon Shopping generated significant revenue, with a notable peak of $2.56M in late February. Downloads remained consistent, ranging between 88K and 99K per week. Weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 9.25M to 8.77M over the quarter.

AliExpress, while not generating revenue, saw an increase in downloads from 71K in the first week of January to 109K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users showed an upward trend, finishing the quarter at 2.34M, up from 2M at the beginning of the period.
