Top 5 Shopping Apps on Android in Germany: Q1 2024

The first quarter of 2024 saw notable trends among the top five shopping applications on Android in Germany. Here’s an overview of their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire started the quarter strong with weekly downloads peaking at around 292K in mid-January. However, downloads saw a downward trend, dropping to approximately 66K by mid-March before slightly rebounding to over 93K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed some fluctuations, starting at about 1.97M and peaking around 2.21M mid-quarter, finishing at roughly 2.2M.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a mixed quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at nearly 80K, peaking at around 153K in late March. Active users grew steadily, from 773K at the start to over 1.06M by the end of the quarter.

Lidl Plus saw consistent growth in downloads and active users. Weekly downloads increased from approximately 52K at the beginning of January to around 76K by the end of March. Active users also rose steadily, starting at 831K and reaching over 1.03M by the end of Q1.

REWE - Online Supermarkt showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 75K in late January before tapering off to around 44K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 428K and peaking at around 519K in late January, closing the quarter at approximately 475K.

Kleinanzeigen - without eBay maintained a stable download rate, with weekly downloads hovering between 39K and 46K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistently high, starting at about 3.95M and peaking at approximately 4.05M in mid-March.
