Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Central America Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in Central America demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Afore SURA saw a significant influx of downloads, peaking at 32.6K in the week of February 12. Weekly downloads fluctuated, ending the quarter at around 14.9K. Active users initially increased from 96.5K to a high of 119.8K in mid-February, before stabilizing at approximately 94.6K by the end of March.

Soy Cliente GNP maintained a steady download trend, starting with 4.7K in the first week of January and ending with 5.6K in the last week of March. Active users showed a consistent increase, from 15.5K to 17.2K in early March, slightly dipping to 16.9K by the end of the quarter.

Rastreator : Seguros Auto&Moto experienced a decline in downloads over the quarter, beginning at 6.5K and dropping to 2.9K by late March. Despite this, the app's active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 44K to 46K throughout the quarter.

BBVA SOS - Asistencia de Auto started strong with 5.4K downloads in the first week of January, but this number gradually decreased to 2.2K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 17.7K and slightly declining to 16.2K by the quarter's end.

QMóvil showed a positive trend in downloads, starting at 2.7K in early January and reaching 3.6K in the final week of March. Active users increased from 7.3K to 8.3K over the same period, reflecting a growing user engagement.
