In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 finance apps on Android in Oceania exhibited notable performance trends in weekly downloads and active users. Below is a detailed look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Wallet saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with 21.3K and peaking at 41.3K in the week of February 19. Active users also increased steadily, from 249.5K at the beginning of January to a peak of 689.9K in mid-March, before slightly declining to 654.7K by the end of the quarter.

CommBank experienced fluctuating download numbers, beginning with 9.2K and reaching a high of 16.1K in early March. Despite these fluctuations, active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.7M throughout the quarter.
