Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Norway: Q1 2024

During the first quarter of 2024, the top five finance apps on the Android platform in Norway displayed various trends in downloads and active users. Here, we delve into the performance of Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade, Google Wallet, Vipps, SpareBank 1 Mobile Banking, and DNB.

Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade had a stable presence in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 2.2K in the week of January 29 and ending the quarter at 1.5K. Active users saw a gradual increase, starting at 36.3K and reaching 41.5K by the end of March.

Google Wallet exhibited a noticeable growth in weekly downloads, particularly in February, with a high of 3.2K in the week of February 12. Active users also increased significantly, beginning at 24K and rising to 61.1K by March 18, before slightly dropping to 59.9K in the final week of March.

Vipps maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, peaking at 1.5K in the week of February 19. Active users, however, showed a more dynamic trend. Starting with 894.7K, there was a peak of 966.2K in late January, followed by a decline to 798.5K by the end of March.

SpareBank 1 Mobile Banking saw its weekly downloads peak at 1.5K mid-January, with a gradual decline to 964 by the end of March. Active users exhibited stability, starting at 13.8K and ending the quarter slightly higher at 14K.

DNB had the most dynamic change in weekly downloads, with a significant surge to 2.1K in the final week of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at 60.1K and experiencing fluctuations, peaking at 74.3K in the last week of the quarter.
