The fourth quarter of 2023 has shown interesting trends for the top travel apps in Oceania. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 38K in late September and peaking at approximately 45K in early December. Active users ranged from 1.02M to 1.26M, with a noticeable peak towards the end of November.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a relatively stable download trend, ranging from 25K to 34K per week. Active users showed consistency, hovering around 700K to 800K, with a significant increase to over 800K in the final week of December.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained a steady increase in downloads, starting at about 23K in September and reaching up to 27K by early December. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at around 400K in mid-December before a slight drop to 321K by the year's end.

Airbnb had weekly downloads ranging between 19K and 29K. The highest download count was observed in the last week of December. Active users increased throughout the quarter, from around 284K to 388K, marking a solid upward trend.

EasyPark - Parking made easy had a consistent download pattern, with numbers fluctuating between 16K and 22K. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase, ending the quarter at approximately 54K.
